First Lieutenant Chris Antal, a chaplain candidate with the Army National Guard shares a story about his work with veterans, servicemembers and military families now that the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has provided chaplains with Bless All Who Serve: Sources of Hope, Courage and Faith for Military Personnel and Their Families.
In this video, Lieutenant Antal tells a powerful tale of what it takes to "come out" in our faith as a veteran or military family member, and how this resource is facilitating more and more of this.
In honor of Veterans Day, we present you with this moving story.
Free copies of Bless All Who Serve are available to military chaplains, ministers and enlisted men and women of all faiths. Chaplains and ministers should contact Julie Shaw (mplassistant @ uua.org) at the UUA. Servicemen and women should contact Lorraine Dennis (ldennis @ clfuu.org) at the Church of the Larger Fellowship.
