Webinars for Religious Leaders in Your Congregation

People participating in a webinar

Let’s face it. Being a religious leader these days can be extremely challenging, especially for those of you who have day jobs. Besides, who has the money, time (or both!) to enroll in seminary to get all the tools you need anyway?

The good news is, technology enables us to engage in online learning from the comfort of our own homes, in our own terms, and even wearing our own jammies if we want to (except when we have our webcams turned on of course).

The Pacific Western Region is pleased to offer you a selection of stand-alone webinars and webinar series to enhance your learning opportunities. The cost is minimal, but the reward to your congregation is priceless. Learn everything from developing a healthy congregation, to intercultural competency, to generosity in all things. If you seek new ideas for your youth group, we’ve got a webinar for that as well.

The greatest part of it is, you don’t have to do it alone! The best way to absorb all this information and bring it back to your congregation is as a learning community. So why not enlist two or three people from your congregation? You can also save money that way because we only charge $20 per connection. Speaking of saving money, if you take a four-session series, it costs $60, saving you $20! We’re trying out the series concept this year to build relationships amongst congregations going through similar issues. The topics within each series also build and play on each other. Learning does not have to be a one-off event, but an ongoing one with other UUs facing similar challenges.
