Southern Region Congregational Life Staff

Nancy Combs-Morgan has been immersed in Unitarian Universalist faith development for 26+ years, including 6 as a Director of Religious Education, and 20 years on UUA district and regional staff. As a Congregational Life Consultant in the MidAmerica Region, with a focus in Lifespan Faith Development and Youth/YA ministries, from 2003-2022, she also began serving both the MidAmerica and Southern Regions. She now serves full-time on the Southern Region team. Throughout this progression she has remained passionate about the transformative impact of our faith for children, youth, and young adults.

She has worked closely as a regional representative on the UUA’s Faith Development Co-Lab and is active in supporting the UUA’s RE Credentialing program, including being a RECC mentor and is a Credentialed Religious Educator at the Leadership Level.

Outside of the realm of faith development, she radiates a love of music and spiritual deepening. She completed her certification as a Spiritual Counselor with the OneSpirit Learning Alliance in September of 2022 and is pursuing more opportunities in group spiritual direction. Nancy loves spending time with family and friends in her hometown of Lexington, KY.
