Church Management Software
The Unitarian Universalist Association does not recommend specific software, but the following have been mentioned by congregation members as being useful:
- MemInfo (written by UUs for UUs) will help you maintain information about the interests, skills, contributions and pledges of members and friends of your organization. Auction features are included without additional charge.
- CiviCRM is a free, open source software constituent relationship management solution. Integration with both Drupal and Joomla! content management systems gives you the tools to connect, communicate and activate your supporters and constituents.
The Community Church of Chapel Hill UU put together a comparison of different Church Management Systems (ChMS) a few years ago, but late in 2010 decided on a ChMS. Since then they stopped updating the overview of their project and Google Spreadsheet they had used for comparisons.
