There are two fees for NELS:

1) Church Application Fee

The church application fee of $450 allows your church to send a member to NELS , sponsoring two members costs $500, and for $600 your church may submit a team application for three to five people. All church application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE .
- Note: In case of an emergency last-minute cancellation, the church fee may be carried over for ONE year.
2) Individual Tuition, Room, and Board Fee

Tuition, room, and board fee is $695 per person. Sending a $200 deposit will ensure a space is held. The total fee must be paid in full BEFORE June 30, 2008.

Financial Aid

Financial aid may be available from your church or district. Talk to your Board Chair, Minister, or District Executive for more information.

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations, even if initiated by phone, must be sent in writing (fax/email/letter) to the NELS Registrar. If cancellations are received or postmarked by Friday, July 20th, participants will receive a full refund of the individual tuition, room and board fee, minus the $200 deposit. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to charges for any additional costs incurred on the participant's behalf (e.g., meals, room charges, education materials). The NELS Planning Committee reserves the right to address all refunds on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will be processed in September. Participant substitutions may be made at any time with the approval of the sponsoring church.
