As part of our fall programming, we recently had a meeting of the large church Social Justice staff people. It was a great conversation about what the challenges and opportunities are in these particular times. And they realized that they would like to connect on a regular basis to learn from and with each other, and to gain support for the important social justice ministries of our congregations. They also wanted to reach out to social justice religious professionals from any size congregation to join them.

Beginning on Thursday, November 19th, there will be a drop-in conversation through Zoom to share thoughts, ideas, suggestions, questions, queries, and the rest. This newly emerging group will meet the third Thursday of every third month (once a quarter), starting in November, then February, May, August, through the year. Meeting time is 11:00 AM Eastern, 10:00 AM Central. There will also be a newly created Facebook Group, as well as a Google Drive place for sharing resources and other information.
