October is one of the most beautiful months in MidAmerica, yet, we are amidst an anxious autumn with change, pain, and uncertainty all around us. As Regional staff, we can’t help with everything, but we can connect you to one another for ideas and support about evolving practices during congregationally virtual times. In place of our annual in-person MidAmerica Large Church Staff gathering, we set up virtual affinity group meetings for this fall. And, we are doing the same for congregations of all sizes within our Region.

Here is a link to a variety of facilitated affinity group conversations in the month of October that you can join if you volunteer, work, or serve in religious education, membership, facilities, administration, music/worship, or serve as a clergyperson. Some groups have more than one meeting time available, so peruse the list to see what fits you best. These groups are places where you can share questions, ideas, and resources. Each meeting will be facilitated by a member of our staff. The events will not be recorded, so register now.
