OBGLTC is charged with providing information and resources to UU (Unitarian Universalist) individuals, congregations and friends. We seek to interpret issues related to LBGT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender) people, UU societies, and society at large; and work to counteract homophobia everywhere through educational and programmatic materials. Interweave
is a membership organizational affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist
Association, dedicated to the spiritual, political, and social well-being of
Unitarian Universalists who are confronting oppression as lesbians, gay men,
bisexuals, transgender persons, and their heterosexual allies; and facilitates
the celebration of the culture and lives of its members.
The Youth

The Youth Office
carries out the directives of the YRUU (Young Religious Unitarian Universalist) Youth Council and the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association), creates
resources, manages the many YRUU-related email lists and the YRUU website,
publishes the magazine Synapse, advocates for youth in the UUA, supports the
training of youth and advisors in different leadership skills, and plans
continental events. The YPS's (Youth Program Specialist) focus on supporting YRUU programs, and collaborate
with the Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministry on justice issues. The Youth
Office is also a part of the larger Lifespan Faith Development staff group, who
help support the development of curricula and resources for Religious Educators,
including the Our Whole Lives sexuality curriculum.
