Grant Application Process

 

Purpose:  The purpose of 21st Century Fund shall be to support the mission of LREDA in serving all Unitarian Universalist religious educators through innovative and supportive programs and services which augment those which are made possible by the dues of the members.  Such programs could include but are not limited to projects that make innovative programs available to all religious educators, new services, publications, electronic networks and trainings.

The Applications must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2008.  Please supply SIX COPIES of the following information in writing and SENT BY POSTAL MAIL.

 

A.     Basic Information

  1. Name, address, E-mail and phone number of the applicant(s).
  2. Date of application.
  3. Project Title
  4. Organization making the grant request if applicable.
  5. Total amount of the grant request.

 

B.     Description of the project

  1. Outline the type of project, its goals and philosophy.
  2. State the need the project is designed to fill.
  3. Indicate any target groups to be served.
  4. Include any outline, samples, or other illustrations of the contents of the project.
  5. Describe the qualifications of the person(s) or group(s) to undertake the project.
  6. Provide the time frame for the project including the proposed completion date.

 

C.     Financial Information

  1. Provide a complete budget for the project.
  2. List other funding sources(s) currently available, and (b) being requested.
  3. Indicate the minimum grant that would enable the completion of the project, and the date the grant would be needed.

 

D.    Grant History

In the past, the 21st Century Fund has awarded grants for model publications, on-line courses available to all religious educators, mentor training for the LREDA credentialing process and training trainers for a program that supports religious educators and children with disabilities, and expanded LREDA Fall conference. 

 

Projects are requested to note the funding support of the LREDA 21ST Century Fund.
