Contacts for UUA-Hosted Email List Issues

In the event of a non-technical problem or complaint about one of the lists hosted on UUA.org, please contact the following people:

  1. First, contact the list managers (listname-owner@lists.uua.org).
    The first steps in dealing with problems on mailing lists should be taken by the list managers.
  2. If the problem cannot be resolved by the list managers, then contact the list's sponsoring organization (this information should be listed on http://lists.uua.org/mailman/listinfo/listname).
    If the list is sponsored by an organization (for example, a district list, or a list sponsored by a UUA affiliate), that organization should review complaints before the UUA ITS Web Team becomes involved.
  3. If the problem cannot be resolved by the list managers and/or sponsoring organization, then contact the UUA ITS Web Team (successor to the Office of Electronic Communications) at web@uua.org).
    The Web Team may receive complaints about list managers or moderators, or about list subscribers, and will consult the sponsoring organization (if any) during the handling of the complaint.
