Programs
We've set our weekly meeting date/time and location, now what?
- Find ideas and outlines for worship, discussions and activism in the Worship & Activity Online Archive (and contribute yours!)
- Read through this chapter to get a broader perspective of what college students want and how much they can handle (beware over-programming)
There are many ways to create a ministry to campus; and there are ways to do ministry without immediately starting a Unitarian Universalist Campus Ministry (UUCM) Group. Many successful campus ministries start with a program of mentoring (connecting Unitarian Universalist (UU) students with UU adults in your congregation), campus outreach publicizing congregational activities of interest, one-on-one ministry/pastoral care to UU students, and participation in multi-congregational cluster campus ministry coalition. Forming a campus group is the ultimate goal, as it establishes a primary community for UU students and allows UU students to help define the nature and activities of the campus ministry efforts. UU congregations with few or no UU students need to consider alternatives, but think long-term to establishing an official UUCM Group (with a few as 3 active UU students).
