Funding

Money provides you with the means to accomplish several tasks, which will help your campus ministry long-term.  Most important is having money for outreach (posters, advertising, tabling handouts), activities (candles, hymnal, food, drinks) and special events (retreats, district young adult conference, leadership training).  Understanding finances involves these first steps:
  • Learn about the budget process the local Congregation Board of Trustees.
  • Request a line-item in the congregational budget, generally through a letter to the Board of Trustees.
  • Set up a date and time to meet with the Board of Trustees to make a statement about the campus ministry program and need for funds.
