The chalices available in the slideshow are optimized for web use. For print-quality images, try downloading one of the following fonts for use in your favorite publishing software. The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) "official chalice logo" is also available in print-ready quality.
Henning Hraban Ramm's U/U Chalice Font
For Windows and Mac (includes the official UUA chalice).
Steve Bridenbaugh's UU Chalice Font
A TrueType font for Windows (15 different chalices).
- Right-click on the link above.
- Save it (choose "Save Target As...") in your computer's fonts folder (c:\Windows\Fonts, c:\Win98\Fonts or c:\WinNT\Fonts).
- Go to "My Computer" and locate the file.
- Rename the file to have the extension ".ttf" instead of ".txt".
Windows XP users have had mixed results, but try the following:
- Save the file to your "Fonts" folder (inside the "Windows" folder) and rename it "chalice_fonts.ttc".
This will give you the capability to insert chalices from your keyboard in your word-processing program if it uses TrueType fonts.
Submitting Images
You may submit your chalice clip art by emailing web @ uua.org. Please send a high-quality gif, jpg, or png version of your chalice at 550 pixels high x 550 pixels wide.
