Past National Conferences for Large Congregations

The conferences for large Unitarian Universalist congregations are held triennially.

The Seventh National Conference for Large Congregations, "From Perspiration to Inspiration: Spiritually Grounded Leadership for Large Congregations," was held Thursday - Sunday, March 13 - 16, 2008, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Large Churches face unique challenges in realizing their potential for growth, health, and spiritual vitality. The Sixth Continental Conference for Large Churches, "Congregations In Good Company," was held February 17 - 20, 2005, in Boston, Massachusetts.

"Changing Congregations, Changing Cultures" was the theme of The Fifth Continental Conference for Large Churches.  It was held November 1 - 4, 2001, in Portland, Oregon.
