June 2007: C*UUYAN Job Opening; General Assembly
Dear Friends,Young adult ministers, social workers, and ministerial students have an excellent opportunity to connect with the Unitarian Universalist young adult community this summer. The leaders of ConCentric and Opus, the annual business meeting and spiritual retreat of the Continental UU Young Adult Network (C*UUYAN), are looking for a chaplain. The deadline for applications is June 1. See the enclosed flyer for information on how to apply.
If members of your congregation have not yet registered for the General Assembly (GA) in Portland, Oregon, this summer and are planning to attend, please encourage them to register as soon as possible. Registration forms received in Boston after June 8 will not be processed. Walk-up Registration will be available at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, June 19-24, 2007. To register online before June 8, visit the “Events” section of the UUA website. If anyone has questions about registration, please encourage them to write to garegistrar @ uua.org or call (617) 948-6413.
