April 2009 Monthly Bulletin
Dear Friends,
Spring is finally here and though the weather changes, (it will, even if you’re still getting snow, the winter is done!) some things stay the same and we have lots of information for you as usual.
Make sure to read the Commission on Appraisal’s update on the revision of Article II of the bylaws—our Unitarian Universalist (UU) Purposes & Principles.
Lifespan Faith Development is looking for writers for Tapestry of Faith curriculum for adults, and field test congregations to try out Riddle and Mystery: UU Responses to Big Questions, the new program for sixth graders.
The Washington Office for Advocacy has tips on how to get involved with environmental justice, the April Action of the Month and plan ahead for May with their flyer on immigration justice.
If you’re interested in working on racial equity, read the flyer about the online training Transforming Our Whiteness being offered in May by Allies for Racial Equity through the Church of the Larger Fellowship.
As usual, please share this information with others and let me know if you have any questions.
In Peace,
Sabe Graham
