December 2008: Happy Holidays
Dear Friends,
Well, time certainly does fly by. December is already upon us and another calendar year is almost here! It’s the holiday season again, a time for friends and family and planning for the New Year. I hope you and your congregation enjoy wonderful holidays filled with cheer and warmth.
Before you get to planning 2009 with the help of all of the resources in this packet, we need your help. Skinner House is hunting for children’s versions of the Principles, and Lifespan Faith Development needs authors for two new Tapestry of Faith children’s curricula.
Okay, now you can get out your calendars!
Make sure to certify your congregational membership and statistics by February 2, 2009. Data Services has all of the instructions on their flyer.
Get ideas from the Action of the Month flyers for both December and January. Plan a trip to explore Unitarian Universalsit (UU) Boston and use the refreshed resources available online. Looking even further into the future, make sure to read the announcement from the General Assembly (GA) Office about UU University and General Assembly 2009.
And for those last minute shoppers out there, check out the UU-themed gifts available from the Church of the Larger Fellowship, and get something perfect for the UU on your gift list.
