October 2008: A Season of Change

Dear Friends,

I hope your congregational year is off to a good start! Here in Boston, the fall has brought a renewed connection with all of you, but has not yet brought the crisp air it is known for.

With the change of season—even if we can’t notice it outside yet—comes a wealth of information for you.

  • In fitting with the themes of changes, read about new developments with the Green Sanctuary Program and the Office of Youth Ministries.
  • The 2009 Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Directory will be a little different from past years; make sure you take a look at the flyer explaining the changes.
  • Attend one or more of the conferences announced in this mailing, such as the Racial Justice Conference and the Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship’s Revival 2009.
  • Learn about the Unitarian Universalist Blogging Resources Project and related materials available at UUA.org
  • Get your congregation involved with social justice activities addressing Iran (October’s Action of the Month) and read about the Legislative Objectives for Congress that came out of General Assembly this year.
  • Please feel free to print extra copies of the materials included here and to share this information with others.

Have a great fall!

In peace,

Sabe Graham
Public Information Assistant
