Congregational ARAOMC Report Samples

These sample documents are to help guide you in reporting the anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multicultural (ARAOMC) activities on the congregational and cluster level. By reporting activities each year, congregations can begin to see progress on their ARAOMC path as well as hold themselves accountable to vision and goals from one year to the next.

Recognize that they are subjective evaluation tools. The process of framing the questions to move through the evaluation is as, or more, important than the results. The value is in gaining a deeper understanding of where a congregation is and where it wants to be.

Each congregation and group is unique. The resources that are available in different regions of the country change. Become familiar with your neighborhood and region—what might you learn from what is around you? Don't forget to research ARAOMC resources available through the Unitarian Universalist Association and from the districts, many of them free. Bring the multicultural message of inclusivity and diversity into your congregation through education, outreach, and accountability.
