Getting to Church

Not everybody drives. If your building is on a bus or train route, find out and share information about public transportation availability. Have bus/train schedules readily available for people.

In order to accommodate people using public transportation, schedule and time your meetings and events to begin and end at times that match bus/train schedules.

Set up carpools. Many congregations have found this to be a viable way of accommodating people who do not drive.

Gather and provide information about accessible public transportation , and accessible taxi service in your community, and whether or not these services operate in your geographic area.
