Top Picks for Religious Education Credentialing

Greetings! I'm the Reverend Beth Williams, Religious Education and Music Leadership Credentialing Director, and I work with this credentialing program to strengthen Unitarian Universalist (UU) religious education through the continued development and professionalization of lay religious educators, and to provide a clear and effective system for standards and recognition of these achievements.

I offer consultation and advice pertaining to the Religious Education Credentialing program. In coordination with Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) district staff, I provide information about professional development, settlement, and staffing issues related to lay religious education professionals.

In reflecting on the most frequently asked questions we receive, my assistant, Paula Welling, and I have compiled this quick guide to online resources for you and your community as you pursue excellence and professionalism in UU religious education.

Please be in touch with us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours in the faith,

Beth Williams
