Congregation Certification of Membership 2010
Every Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) member congregation must complete Certification of Membership no later than Monday, February 1, 2010, at 5 p.m. Pacific time. The congregation must fill out an online form that includes the congregation’s certified membership number. This number determines the number of voting delegates who can represent your congregation at General Assembly 2010, and also the Annual Program Fund’s Fair Share requested amount (FY 2011).
During this process, you may also review the congregation's contact information (including mailing and meeting addresses, phone, email, and web page), which appears in the Find a Congregation section of the UUA website. And you can indicate whether your congregation is wheelchair accessible or has assisted listening devices available, and pledging, attendance, religious education enrollment, and budget numbers for the congregation.
Use the the Data Services Login for Congregations to certify your congregation.
Updating Your Congregation's Members and Leaders Information
Authorized congregational representatives can log in using a my.UUA.org account to update the following information:
- Membership List: You can update the congregation's list as new members join, so they will begin receiving the quarterly UU World magazine mailings,as well as correcting addresses that change. Congregational staff are encouraged to update this list several times per year in order to correct addresses that have been marked as undeliverable because of mail returns.
- Congregation Leaders and Staff List: You can update data about church officers. Some of this information appears in the UUA Directory. Updates should be submitted immediately following the congregation's annual meeting/election. You can make additional changes to this information any time. We encourage you to provide email addresses for leaders and staff so they can receive UUA newsletters.
