DVD, Book Support Multiculturalism

September 26, 2008

The DVD from "Leading Congregations into a Multiracial, Multicultural Future," a conference that was held last February in San Jose, CA, is now available.

The conference featured the Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Lewis, senior minister at Middle Collegiate Church in New York City, plus the Rev. William Sinkford, Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) president, and Rev. Jason Shelton, minister of music at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, TN.

To order a copy of the DVD and a discussion guide go to the Multiracial, Multicultural Future Conference website or send a check for $5, made out to the UUA, to Diane Martin, UUA, 25 Beacon St., Boston, MA 02108. Include your name, address and phone number.

Lewis’s new book, The Power of Stories (A Guide for Leading Multi-Racial and Multi-Cultural Congregations), is also available for $16, as part of the Discoveries–Insights for Church Leadership series from Abingdon Press.
