Services for Large Congregations
Large Congregations Resources
Support services for our large congregations are organized and developed by our Congregational Life staff Team. We provide a wide array of resources that serve the developmental needs of our larger congregations in ways that are innovative, size appropriate, and faithful to our liberal values.
Large congregations are defined as congregations with 550 or more members. There are presently thirty-nine large congregations (PDF, 3 pages) in our association, as well as a score of larger midsize congregations (425-550 members) that receive services aimed at helping them manage the size transition and increase their impact.
Congregational Life staff monitor trends among large congregations in other denominations, looking for models and methods that can be applied in a Unitarian Universalist context.
