UUA Large Congregations Team
The Large Congregations Team (LCT) is an inter-departmental panel which includes Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) staff and representatives from key large church constituencies. It meets on a regular basis to examine the needs of large churches, review the UUA's efforts to serve them, and establish priorities for our ongoing work with large congregations.
Mission: The Large Congregations Team supports and encourages large congregation ministry in our movement. To do this the Team will:
- Scan the large congregation environment in search of instances and patterns of success and challenge for our large congregations;
- Advocate for the application of UUA resources in line with needs and opportunities facing large congregations;
- Support larger mid-size congregations in their size transitions to large congregations.
Current members of the LCT are:
- Harlan Limpert, Director for Congregational Growth and Vitality, and Large Congregations Team Convener
