Presenters of the Governance UU University Track

Unity Consulting, a team of professional and lay leaders dedicated to breathing new life into liberal religious congregations and institutions through policy governance consulting, led the 2009 UU University Governance Track.

  • Rev. Rob Eller-Isaacs

    Over fifty years combined experience in parish ministry Rob and Janne have encountered a wide variety of challenges and opportunities. They have shared their extensive experience in congregational life, organization development and capital fundraising through consulting with congregations nationwide.

  • Rev. Janne Eller-Isaacs

  • Barbara Hubbard

    As the chief administrative officer of the church Barbara serves as controller, personnel director and facilities manager. Barbara has also managed health care non-profits and food cooperatives. Her “real world” experience brings a best practices perspective which churches sorely need.

  • Laura Park

    Laura is an organization development consultant with extensive experience in the use of Appreciative Inquiry. Laura is a past member of the Board of Trustees of Unity Church–Unitarian, holds an MA in organization development, and is serving as managing director of Unity Consulting.

  • Joe Sullivan

    Joe Sullivan.

    Joe is the immediate past-president of the Southwest District of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). During his tenure he guided the district board's transition into policy governance. As a consultant, Joe focuses on congregational vitality through renewal work on governance areas of covenant, mission, vision, planning and board development.

  • Louise Wolfgramm

    Louise serves as President and CEO of Amicus USA, a non-profit serving people coming back into the community following incarceration. A born and bred Unitarian Universalist (UU), Louise was a member of Unity’s Executive Team and has served on many policy governance boards.

  • Leon Dunkley

    This year's Hallman intern at Unity Church-Unitarian, Leon is a life-long UU. Leon is completing his studies at the Starr King School for the Ministry and brings his experience as a doctor of musicology and a professor of music to his rich and caring ministry.
