Association Sunday 2011: Celebrating Excellence in Ministries!
Thank you for joining nearly 500 congregations this year in celebrating Association Sunday! Together we have raised more than $300,000 to support scholarships, continuing education, and a comprehensive assessment of our ministries and their needs for the future.
When the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) launched Association Sunday as a part of the Now is the Time Campaign, we announced that there would be five years of these exceptional Sundays devoted to special projects. Since 2007, you have raised over two and a half million dollars through Association Sunday to support Growth in Numbers, Witness, Diversity, Spirit, and Leadership.
Though Association Sunday officially comes to a close this year, we hope you will continue the tradition of holding a special service each October—or whenever has become your tradition—to nurture the bonds that connect our Unitarian Universalist congregations and celebrate our Association of Congregations.
Your Association of Congregations continues to need your support. In addition to Annual Program Fund commitments, we will be in touch with you about how your generosity can allow us to do more and be better together.
