30 Days of Love: Share the Love Sunday
Join congregations nationwide to celebrate 30 Days of Love on Share the Love Sunday!
Sunday, February 17, 2013 will mark the end of thirty days of amazing social justice actions and demonstrations of courageous love. Standing on the Side of Love, the Unitarian Universalist Association’s (UUA’s) public advocacy campaign, will be stewarding this spiritual journey as we lift our voices for justice. And we invite you to celebrate this journey with your congregation by holding a special worship service.
Association Sunday officially came to a close in 2011, but we hope congregations will continue the tradition of holding a service and taking a collection to nurture the connections between our Unitarian Universalist congregations and our Association. Join us on February 17, or any date that works with your calendar.
Services can reflect upon what it means for your congregation to stand on the side of love. Congratulate your congregants for their hard work for justice and love during the past thirty days, as well as throughout the year. Raise up exceptional projects and honor those who have made a difference in your community. Sing and rejoice in the collective power of our faith and this movement for Love. And encourage your congregation to make a special offering to support this amazing work.
Congregational collections will support the Unitarian Universalist Association and all of its programs, including Standing on the Side of Love. Your contributions make this possible. Thank you for your generosity and passion. Please help us Share the Love!
