Expanding Our World
uuworld.org, our weekly online companion to UU World magazine, won the Best Faith-based Online Marketing Campaign of the Year award for its innovative outreach. We seek to continue and enhance this wonderful tool, which consistently deepens the lives of our members and leaders.
- $100,000 will transform uuworld.org into a full-service online magazine and interactive community for one year. Our goal is for uuworld.org to become an online coffee hour, embracing technologies that are transforming news and magazine sites into thriving, popular communities.
- An additional $100,000 will expand the uuworld.org community site described above with podcasts, creating our own version of a small Natioinal Public radio (NPR) station.
- $500,000 will allow our online magazine to become one of the leading voices on the “religious left” for one year, and will enable UUA.org to focus on providing denominational services.
