Home Away from Home
We seek to create a full-service Unitarian Universalist internet-based congregation to affirm the cultural longings of people of African, Arab, Asian/Pacific Island, Latina/o/Hispanic, Native American heritage and other historically-oppressed ethnic/cultural groups. This cyber-congregation will support Unitarian Universalist growth through diversity of ministry and membership, and fill the cultural gap for Unitarian Universalists from racial/ethnic groups who find a faith community, but not a culturally-affirming home in Unitarian Universalism.
- $125,000 will provide start-up support to create the cyber-congregation An additional $100,000 will support the congregation for one year
