Announcing New Legacy Gifts Coordinator
Dear Friends,
I’m delighted to announce that Larry Stritof is our new Legacy Gifts Coordinator. Because I know you have worked with several people over the years, I want to assure you that many of them are still part of our staff group and working with Larry to ensure a trouble-free transition.
Larry has served us well as Campaign Specialist. He is one of our most senior staff members and has years of experience processing and managing all aspects of legacy gifts and stock transfers.
Our Campaign Manager Catherine Lynch, the entire Campaign Team, and I will be supporting Larry as Legacy Coordinator. In particular, Marcia Trahan will be assisting Larry directly; Marcia also has been working with legacy gifts for several years and is well versed in the associated processes and practices.
I am deeply grateful to Marcy Bailey-Adams, who has recently decided to pursue a new path after serving the Unitarian Universalist Association with grace and talent for over 15 years. In her farewell letter she says: “Gratitude and sadness commingle as I take my leave of this ministry. I am absolutely confident that I leave you in very good hands and hearts—good people who will take on the mantle of service I have worn.” I share Marcy’s confidence.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the Legacy Gifts Office at (888) 792-5885 or giftplans @ uua.org, or Larry Stritof directly at (617) 948-6511. And, as always, I welcome your calls, emails, and letters.
Your Association of Congregations is committed to improving and enhancing our relationship to our legacy donors, and to helping you make your dreams for our faith come true.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
In faith and gratitude,
The
Reverend Terry Sweetser
Vice
President for Stewardship and
Development &
Senior
Advisor to the President
