UUA International Office Fund

The International Resources Office (IRO) seeks to support congregations as they respond to the call of the Unitarian Universalist Association's (UUA's) Sixth Principle: “to affirm and promote the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.”

Seeking to support congregations by way of resources and affiliations, the IRO is available to all UUA congregations that are either internationally-engaged or in the process of developing internationally-focused ministries.

Your generosity will make it possible for the International Resources Office (IRO) to:

  • Provide resources to congregations for international engagement.
  • Coordinate with the multitude of Unitarian Universalist (UU) organizations involved in international ministry.
  • Maintain and develop linkages with historic and new UU judicatories around the world based upon principles of right relationship.

The IRO supports partners like the Holdeen India Program (UUHIP), which works with organizations in India that support the country's most vulnerable groups in their efforts to advance justice and equity. They have also been very involved in the relief work in Japan after the 2011 tsunami and earthquake.
