Our service will focus on the importance of people of color having their voices not only centered, but heard and understood. White fragility and denial must be named and overcome as a central part of our faith in action. The indigenous Hawaiian concept of Pono will be explained as yet another example of a culture that embraces the concept of doing no harm, apart from any religious faith or doctrine; be righteous because it is right.
