Annual Program Fund (APF) Giving Rates

2014 Fair Share Giving Rates

  • Giving rates are dependent on your self reported figures during the annual Certification Process.

  • The Unitarian Universalist Association's (UUA's) Fiscal Year runs from July 1st to June 30th.

  • For FY2014 there will be a different rate structure for congregations in the Southern Region.

For Congregations not in the Southern Region

The requested contribution (Fair Share) will continue to be calculated on the based of the number of members your congregation reports during the annual certification process.

The Fair Share for 2013-2014 fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) is:

  • $60 per certified member or

  • For congregations with 550 or more members, there is an option of contributing at 4.3% of operating expenses.

Review the regional map.

Generously Investing for Tomorrow

The Southern Region is leading the way in the new fiscal year! The four districts that comprise the region will be experimenting with the new Generously Investing in Tomorrow (GIFT) program, a covenantal process unifying UUA and district/regional funding.

The Fair Share for 2013-2014 fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) is:

  • 7% of reported annual expenses.

  • This will represent both UUA and Region (district) Fair Share funds.

  • Payments will be sent to UUA, and these funds will be then distributed between the UUA and the Region Staff.

The GIFT Program will be implemented and supported by a representative leadership team.

The APF staff and the Southern Region Team are happy to provide you with tools for understanding and explaining this change.

Questions regarding the GIFT program can also be directed to southerngenerosity @ uua.org

This work is made possible by the generosity of individual donors and congregations. Please consider making a donation today.
