Children's Programs at General Assembly
All children under the age of fourteen are permitted to attend General Assembly (GA) with their parents or guardians. However, if you wish to enroll a child in a Children's Program, advance registration is required and space is limited. If not participating in Children's Programs, registration is not required for children under fourteen.
Please note: the extent of available Children's Programs or Religious Education at the 2012 Justice GA is currently being determined by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) Board of Trustees and other stakeholders. Children's Programs information for 2012 should be available soon. Our expectation is that there will be no Young Fun camp for 8-14 year-olds, but there will be a daytime supervision and/or Religious Education for those of that age group.
The General Assembly Planning Committee is committed to making the GA a multigenerational experience and to making GA accessible and welcoming to families with children.
2011 Program Descriptions
Children may not be registered for GA children's programs without a GA registered parent or guardian. Space is limited. Registrations received after May 1 will be subject to a $35 late fee. A discount is granted when a child's parent or guardian is selected as a GA Volunteer ($35 for Pre-GA, Child Care and Day Camp; $100 for Young Fun).

Young Fun
Young Fun is a full-time overnight program for youth ages 8 through 14. Young Fun will be held at an offsite location, usually a local college or university. Activities will include field trips, workshops, games, athletics, arts and crafts, and attendance at selected GA events. Registration fees for Young Fun include all meals, lodging, and activities.
Young Fun campers begin Wednesday (6/22). Camp ends Monday (6/27) at 11:00 a.m. Young Fun is $500 for the first child in a family and $450 for each additional child in the family. All children must be registered full-time for Young Fun; there are no daily rates available. However, you may make arrangements with Young Fun staff to coordinate late arrivals or early departures to accommodate your travel schedule or your child's special needs.
