WaterFire Public Witness Volunteer Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this year’s General Assembly public witness event, bringing love to WaterFire Providence on Saturday June 28, 2014!

Wearing our love shirts and reaching out with the message that faithful social change is grounded in love, we will be making a powerful statement through a vibrant community effort and we need your help! Volunteers can give half an hour or five hours. You do not have to be registered for General Assembly to volunteer for this event.

Fill out this form (ten questions, scroll down and be sure to click "submit") to express your interest and get more info!

Pre-WaterFire worship service attendees will be processing as a group from the Convention Center to WaterFire, and marshals are needed to guide the way.
  • Set-up and/or break down:
Set-up tasks may include hanging banners, decorating meditation sites, setting up displays in our big tent, putting up signs, and more. Break-down tasks will involve striking these items and clean-up.

Welcoming hosts are needed for several stations along the river walk where people are invited to reflect, meditate, or pray.
