Tri-Rail
A 67-mile commuter line links Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties, with free shuttles to the airport.  Fares are $3-$4 from the airport to the Fort Lauderdale station.  To the convention center: Tri-Rail Shuttle Route 53 (weekdays) or Sun Trolley Shuttle (formerly City Cruiser) (weekends) to Broward County Transit (BCT) Bus Terminal. Transfer to BCT Route 40.

Water Taxi /Water Bus
Hop aboard one of Water Taxi’s boats and step ashore at major stops along the waterways.  Headquarters located across from Bahia Mar Beach. Provides one-way or all-day taxi service along the Intracoastal waterway and New River to restaurants and attractions of Fort Lauderdale. Call to arrange pick-up point.  All-day unlimited service passes are $11.

Broward County Transit (PDF)
Public buses serve 410 square miles with 40 routes.  Rates are $1 one-way, $2.50 all-day, and $9 for a 7-day pass.
