Exhibiting

In addition to a multitude of learning, enrichment, and worship opportunities, General Assembly (GA) offers numerous ways to meet and network with other Unitarian Universalists (UU) and UU-related organizations. The Exhibit Hall is always a popular focal point; it provides a gathering place, rest stop, food concession, and marketplace for GA attendees. The GA Exhibit Hall is open to all GA registrants.

For more information on exhibiting at GA, read the 2008 Exhibitor's Prospectus (PDF, 1 page).

The deadline for reserving space in the GA Exhibit Hall was January 31, 2008. Exhibit space cannot be assigned without signed agreement to the Exhibit Space Terms & Conditions (PDF, 1 page).  Contact the General Assembly office at (617) 948-4209 for more information.

Security in the Exhibit Hall

Everyone in the GA Exhibit Hall must display either a valid GA registration name badge or an Exhibit Hall Security Pass at all times. An Exhibit Hall Security Pass will be required for admittance to the Hall during set-up and break-down times (one hour before opening and one hour after closing each day). The Security Pass is transferable but ONLY those with a Security Pass will be admitted during these hours. This policy will be enforced without exception.

If you will have more than two people simultaneously working at your booth who are not otherwise registered for General Assembly, you must purchase additional Security Passes for them. If you need more than two people working at your booth during set-up or break-down times, you must purchase additional Security Passes for them. Additional Security Passes and replacements for lost passes will be $10 each.

Please Note: the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center is located at the northern end of Port Everglades. Due to Federal Security requirements, everyone must show government issued picture identification (passport or driver's license) at all security checkpoints to gain access to the Convention Center area of the Port.  Neither a UUA General Assembly name badge nor an Exhibit Hall Security Pass is sufficient ID for entry to the Convention Center area of the port.
