#2039 A People So Bold: Justice and Congregational Mission
UU University
How does Unitarian Universalism ground our social justice work in history, theology and spiritual growth? How can we and our faith hold brokenness, injustice and oppression? How might we identify individual and collective prophetic voice and use that power to create prophetic congregations? This track will offer opportunities for participants to explore these central questions. We will also introduce materials from key UU theologians, ministers and educators so that you can engage in the same process back home. Featuring Paul Rasor, Sharon Welch, Marilyn Sewell, Rob Hardies, Paula Cole Jones, Kate Lore, Rob Keithan, Susan Leslie, Adam Gerhardstein, and many more. Co-facilitated by Rev. Meg Riley, Director, Advocacy and Witness, UUA and Rev. Louise Green, Minister for Social Justice, All Souls in Washington, DC.
