Housing & Hospitality for Salt Lake City 2009

GA Housing Reservation System

We encourage all General Assembly (GA) attendees to please use the General Assembly Housing Reservation System. We block local hotel rooms to ensure rooms will be available to our attendees. Contracting with hotels for guest rooms also guarantees the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) will receive meeting and function space for GA.

We recognize that the cost associated with attending the General Assembly can be prohibitive for some. Accordingly, we are constantly working to find affordable housing for these individuals as well as providing financial aid in the form of scholarship and volunteer programs.

As of March 2, you may make reservations using one of these three methods:

  1. Make your reservation online
  2. Complete a reservation form (PDF) and fax to: (801) 355-0250
  3. Complete a reservation form (PDF) and mail to:
    The Housing Connection / UUA
175 South West Temple, Suite 140
    Salt Lake City, UT 84101

As a method of last resort, you may also call The Housing Connection at (866) 748-9563, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. MST. However, please be advised that the housing bureau is not equipped to handle a high call volume.

Room Rates/Taxes
The special GA convention rates are only guaranteed through May 7, at which time rates will be subject to change. All rates are per room per night, are subject to a 12.72% tax (subject to change) and include fees paid to the Salt Lake CVB. The hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based upon availability. Please be advised that requests for specific room types cannot be guaranteed.

Modification/Cancellation
You may continue to make, modify and/or cancel reservations from February 1 through June 15 at no charge. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing by email to thc @ housingregistration.com. Any cancellations or changes made after 5:00pm EST on June 15, 2009, must be made directly with the hotel. No-Shows and cancellations made within 72 hours of the arrival date may result in a charge to your credit card for a one night stay.

Acknowledgments will be sent after all reservation bookings, modifications, and cancellations. Please carefully review your acknowledgement for accuracy. If you do not receive an acknowledgement via e-mail, fax, or mail within ten days, please contact the UUA Housing Bureau Monday through Friday at (866) 748-9563 toll-free or (801) 505-4607 international/local, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. MST.
