Service of the Living Tradition
Thursday, 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Led by the Ministry and Professional Leadership Staff Group, this service honors fellowshipped and credentialed religious leaders; remembering those who have died, recognizing those who have completed active service, and welcoming those who have received fellowship or credentialed status in the past year. The sermon will be delivered by Rev. Victoria Safford, minister of the White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, MN. Members of the public are welcome.
Sunday Morning Worship
9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
Join us for the largest annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists joining in worship. The sermon will be delivered by Rev. Marlin Lavanhar, settled minister of All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, OK since 2000. Rev. Lavanhar became widely recognized within the denomination for his development of the "Soulful Sundown Service" program in Boston, which reaches out to unchurched young people. He has spoken frequently on interfaith relations, religious freedom, and on worship for young adults. Members of the public are welcome.
