Housing & Hospitality for Minneapolis 2010
GA Housing Reservation System
We encourage all General Assembly (GA) attendees to please use the General Assembly Housing Reservation System. We block local hotel rooms to ensure rooms will be available to our attendees. Contracting with hotels for guest rooms also guarantees the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) will receive meeting and function space for GA.
We recognize that the cost associated with attending the General Assembly can be prohibitive for some. Accordingly, we are constantly working to find affordable housing for these individuals as well as providing financial aid in the form of scholarship and volunteer programs.
As of 9 a.m. CST on March 1, you may make reservations online.
You may also fax or mail a reservation form or, as a method of last resort, call the UUA Housing Department in Minneapolis at (888) 947-2333 (9 a.m. - 3 p.m. CST). However, please be advised that the office there is not equipped to handle a high call volume.
New: To request accessible housing, use the online housing reservation system. Contact the General Assembly Office at gahousing @ uua.org or (617) 948-4209 for more information. For all other accessiblity services, please complete the Accessibilities Services Request Form
Room Rates/Taxes
The special GA convention rates are only guaranteed through May 15, at which time rates will be subject to change. All rates are per room per night, are subject to a room tax of 13.4% (subject to change) and include fees paid to the Minneapolis Convention and Visitors Association for housing services and convention center fees. The hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based upon availability. Please be advised that requests for specific room types cannot be guaranteed.
