Audio/ Video Technical Notes
- Streaming video is best viewed with high-speed internet (speakers required).
- All General Assembly (GA) 2009 videos require Flash Player version 9.0.115.0 or higher, a free download from Adobe.
- Be sure your browser allows pop-up windows and javascript from our site.
- Note that all times listed for GA video broadcasts are in Mountain Daylight Time.
- Clicking on the screen of a live-streaming event can cause the Flash Player to pause and not re-start. Close the video window and re-open it to re-start the live stream.
- On-demand video will be posted several hours after each live-streamed event (as quickly as our volunteers and staff can process them).
Host a GA Screening
- In addition to the basic system requirements listed above, you will need a projector (product reviews from CNET) and a film screen or blank white wall.
- You may wish to use external speakers for a presentation to a large group of people (see CNET reviews).
Report Trouble
If you have the latest Flash Player but are still experiencing trouble viewing or hearing our videos, please let us know. (Please confirm that there is a scheduled event occurring at Mountain Daylight Time before reporting that our live stream isn't showing anything.)
