Access to Essential Resources
Clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, safe food to eat are all essential to life. Access to energy and employment are essential to participating in human society. Unitarian Universalist Policy affirms that all people have a basic human right to be able to access the necessities for life. However resources are distributed within and across nations, it cannot deny people access to these essential resources.
Here are just a few of the ways in which access to the basic necessities of life are under threat.
- Right to Water
- Genetically Engineered Foods
- Migration Across Borders
