Linnea Nelson

Linnea Nelson is Director of Religious Exploration for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax in Oakton, VA. Her passion is exploring social justice and community-building activities to support faith development, spiritual practice, and worship for children, youth, and families in our dynamic faith.

Linnea has a Master’s degree in school psychology and undergraduate degrees in education and business. She has been a school administrator, including a head of school, and happily changed her role to one she describes as "getting to teach children about kindness and compassion!" She has been a UUCF member for 20 years along with her husband, Ted, and their two young adult, RE-raised, OWL-participant sons, Joel and Nick.
