Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice
Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice (UUSJ) advances equitable national policies and actions, aligned with UU values, through engagement, education, and advocacy, in pursuit of a just, compassionate, and sustainable world community. UUSJ acts in four (4) policy priority areas, which are periodically reviewed and updated, they are: immigration justice, environment and climate justice, economic justice; and, healthy democracy.
As a justice making collective engaged with federal matters, we seek to establish an unremitting UU presence in Washington D.C., the U.S. Capital, before Congress, the Executive Branch, and the Supreme Court. In so doing, we seek to serve Unitarian Universalist, Unitarian Universalist congregations, and impacted communities in accountable relationships. We invite you to join our movement for Unitarian Universalist federal engagement.
