The Channing-Murray Foundation provides a liberal religious center for the campus community of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Its mission is to provide educational opportunities to explore Unitarian Universalist spirituality, reflect our concern for social justice, encourage free expression through the arts, and affirm diversity through outreach to the campus and to the community at large.

Channing-Murray offers regular programs, including informal, participatory Sunday services, a student Unitarian-Universalist Young Adult group (UUYAG), a women's spirituality circle, a meditation circle, social justice forums, classes on spiritual and social concerns; an annual Tagore Festival, poetry, fiction, and art classes, an Open Stage coffeehouse operated by the UUYAG, and frequent performances by student theater and improvisational comedy groups. Over the lunch hour we are also the home of the Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant. Channing-Murray Foundation is housed in the former Unitarian Church of Urbana and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Collegium, an association for liberal religious studies, is a primarily Unitarian Universalist independent association established to encourage collaboration among scholarly members of our clergy and laity who share similar interests; to promote significant theological reflections within and about the Unitarian Universalist movement and other liberal religious movements; to disseminate resources, research, and findings which bear upon the problem of how liberal religion is to address the contemporary situation; and to sustain our heritage of the learned ministry.
Collegium holds an annual conference in October or November of each year. The 2010 conference, held this year in conjunction with CONVO (partners in UU history and heritage), featured Catherine Keller, Professor of Constructive Theology at Drew Theological School as its Distinguished Guest. The Conservative Forum for Unitarian Universalists was founded in 1985 to provide an institution within Unitarian Universalism for the expression of a full range of views on politics, economics and society, that while mainstream in society, are often not heard within the Unitarian Universalist movement. The Covenant of UU Pagans works to enrich and strengthen the religious pluralism of Unitarian Universalism; promote the study and practice of contemporary Pagan and Earth- and nature-centered spirituality; enable networking among pagan-identified UUs; develop educational/liturgical materials on Pagan spirituality for UU congregations; encourage theo/ological inquiry into the contemporary Pagan resurgence; promote inter-religious dialogue; and work for the healing of the Earth. CU2C2 is the blanket organization to which most UU camps, conference centers, and conferences belong. Our membership is approximately 25 camps and conferences, and a few individual members. All existing camps and conferences in the continental US and Canada are considered eligible for membership. The primary activities of CU2C2 are: holding an annual conference to provide an opportunity for participants to improve their skills as camp administrators, board members, volunteers, etc; promoting individual camps and conferences and the camping movement in general; providing a vehicle for sharing knowledge, resources, experiences, and information amongst camps and conferences in order to strengthen and learn from each other.

Sierra Ancha Wilderness UU Religious Association (SAWUURA), located in the Sierra Ancha Mountains of Arizona, is open all year. Senexet House
In 1932, a group of Unitarian laypersons established a retreat at Senexet House, a New England countryside estate in Woodstock, Conn. Its purpose is to encourage and enlarge the spiritual and religious life of the individuals and groups who come to it. The house, built in 1886, ideally located between Boston and New York, is available for religious retreats, family gatherings, counseling groups, young people's organizations, etc., for groups of 15 to 35. It is also available as a meeting space and for overnight retreats.

Following the WTO in Seattle last year about a dozen of us who had attended the demonstrations and were members of the First Unitarian Church began meeting on a weekly basis. We were determined to continue to educate ourselves as well as others on the threats of economic globalization. Since then we have had a busy and productive year. Among other things we have sponsored a six week study forum, continuously place economic justice informational pieces in the Sunday bulletins, and put together a 32 page book on Democracy vs. the WTO. After successfully initiating and helping to pass a resolution on the Campaign Financing at the 2000 General Assembly we are now working towards the passage of a Study Action Item on Economic Globalization at the 2001 General Assembly.

Faithful Fools Street Ministry is located in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. Faithful Fools was founded by UU Rev. Dr. Kay Jorgensen and Sr. Carmen Barsody, OSF. Hale House, located in Boston's Back Bay, is a residence for elderly moderate-and low-income people. It has 56 private rooms, elevators, a library, sitting and dining rooms, and a lovely garden. Nursing care and personal assistance are available 24 hours a day. Hale Barnard operates a social day care program at Hale House for elders who can benefit from socialization activities and two programs in subsidized apartment buildings in Boston. The outreach programs offer help to homebound seniors who are physically and emotionally disabled and/or speak a foreign language. Hale Barnard also manages a senior bill payer program, matching insured, trained volunteers to clients needing help paying their bills and a representative payee program.

The HUUmanists Association originally met at the second General Assembly of the UUA as the Fellowship of Religious Humanists, later adopting its present name to express more clearly its identity within Unitarian Universalism. Interweave Continental is a membership organization actively working to end oppression based on sexual orientation and gender identity, recognizing that we will not be free until all oppression is a thing of the past. Our work is guided by Unitarian Universalist principles. We value and affirm the lives and experience of queer people of faith of all ages, races, ethnicities, income levels, and abilities. By providing and supporting leadership, and working in collaboration with other organizations of similar vision, we strive to connect and nurture all queer individuals, communities, groups, and their allies.

To that end, we host events at General Assembly, hold an annual Convocation, connect a national network of local chapters, and offer print and online resources, networking opportunities, and support.

The Lambda Ministers Guild exisits to offer support to and facilitate communication among bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgender UU ministers. To encourage and support research in the field of bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgender clergy spirituality. To advocate for the interests of bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgender clergy within the USA. We meet annually at General Assembly and at other gatherings where Lambda ministers participate, such as district ministers meetings and Interweave Convocations. Membership is open to all bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgender ministers and ministerial students. A donation of $10 is requested. LBGT ministers and students are welcome to subscribe to our email list: lambda@uua.org.

LREDA furthers the interest of liberal religious education by advocating for high professional standards for lay and ordained religious educators, by offering networking among religious educators at our fall conference, at pre-GA professional days and via lreda-l, and by encouraging development of quality liberal religious education programs, curricula and resources through our collegial networking and our support of the UUA Lifespan Faith Development staff group. LREDA is the first "Welcoming Organization" of the UUA and is committed in its work on becoming an anti-racist, anti-oppressive multicultural organization. Membership is open to women and men, lay, ordained, paid professionals or volunteers of every age, race, physical ability and sexual orientation. LREDA provides leadership development and mentoring, continuing education programs, packets, newsletters and other professional publications.
