I updated our membership number last week, but on the UUA site, where I search for our congregation in Find a Congregation Near You it still has the old number. What’s wrong?
Nothing is wrong. For reasons of security and web page performance, the data that you submit goes into a temporary online database. You are immediately considered as having submitted your data by the deadline once your report is successfully submitted to this online database. You can check this with the online report. The congregational search page presents data that comes from the official Unitarian Universalist Association database instead. Data is moved from the temporary database to the main database after February 1st each year, and periodically after that.
This work is made possible by the generosity of individual donors and congregations. Please consider making a donation today.
