As the Church of the Larger Fellowship's minister, I invite you to call, email, write, or participate in our on-line discussions. Ask your questions, and join in the life of the CLF as much as you'd like. I'd like to get to know you.

"By focusing on the faith development of members over a lifetime, religious education becomes intensely personal. CLF religious education provides tools for individuals as they undertake their spiritual journeys throughout a lifetime. CLF religious education is built on the living traditions or sources of our faith from which have developed the affirmations (also called principles). Unitarian Universalist religious education includes social action, worship, activities that create community, learning and developing leadership and life skills."

As a CLF member you may

• Read articles and sermons from UU perspectives in our monthly publication, Quest (which is also available on audiotape). Read a sample issue of Ques.
• Be in touch with our minister by phone (toll-free 800#), email, or correspondence for personal support, crisis counseling, professional referral, religious and theological dialogue, and practical help. She often suggests books and tapes from the pastoral library for members with pressing life issues.
• Conduct home worship with the resources in your CLF Handbook of Religious Services and by borrowing complete worship services (Sundays Online, in large print) or video tapes from an extensive UU sermon library.
• Help your children grow religiously by: contacting religious education director Lynn Ungar (lungar@clfuu.org); exploring religious education materials on our website, including our "Curriculum for a Quarter" and the monthly "KidTalk" page; borrowing UU religious education curricula; and joining our CLF-RE e-mail list for discussion and additional RE resources. • Nurture your spiritual development through: self-study and on-line courses for adults; on-line covenant groups, and interest-based small groups which build community and promote spiritual exploration; and the CLF loan library, which offers UU books on history, theology and ethics as well as video- and audio-taped sermons.
• Keep up with UU activities and ideas through the UU World, a bimonthly publication of the Unitarian Universalist Association sent to all CLF members. We subsidize this mailing for CLF members who can't afford to contribute fair-share funds to the UUA.
• And most exciting, if you're online - you've got each other! As part of our efforts to keep CLF coming to you in every way possible, we're expanding our web and online services as fast as our staff can manage it! Our website for members has expanded to include a terrific uu&me! page, regularly updated sermons, a jewelry page that lets you order and pay online, and best of all, CLF e-mail lists, (CLF-L, YUU-CLF and CLF-RE), that let members communicate with each other no matter where they live. You can even pay your pledge online! Believe us – with the right support from you we can build a virtual church that will enrich the experience you can have with CLF.

The Church of the Larger Fellowship promotes the understanding and growth of Unitarian Universalism and institutes programs to that end.

As a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), CLF supports the Principles and Purposes of the Association.

The Church of the Larger Fellowship is supported by contributions from its members, who are canvassed annually and pledge according to their commitment and their ability to contribute. Other UU churches ask their members to pledge 2% of their income - and we make the same request. Some give at this level, some volunteer an even greater portion. Some, living on fixed incomes, give a small amount each month. The important thing is that members contribute at whatever level they can. See this year's canvass materials.

Trial Membership - You can join us for a trial period of about three months. During this time:

• You will receive our newsletter Quest.
• You will have access to our Religious Education materials for your family, including Between Sundays.
• You can borrow materials from the CLF loan library.
• You can participate in our email discussions, including our general list, clf-l and our relgious education list, clf-re.
• You can join our on-line adult education courses, as they are offered periodically.

Full Membership - When you join with a regular membership:

• You can order materials to be sent by post from our library.
• We will send you the membership packet, which includes the library catalog.
• You will be put on the mailing list to receive the magazine of the Unitarian Universalist Association, the UU World.
• You will receive copies of Cycle of Seasons - a booklet of seasonal celebrations from around the world and many religious traditions for intergenerational use.
• You can consult our Minister, Jane Rzepka, on her free telephone.
• You can consult our Director of Religious Education, Lynn Ungar, regarding education of children.
