Coming of Age Enrichment Program
Murray Grove is offering a Coming of Age Enrichment weekend open to all Coming of Age groups: Friday to Sunday, March 31st to April 2nd, 2017.
Our new program, created in 2016 by two very experienced Unitarian Universalist religious educators, Meagan Henry and Tracy Brenneman, has had its inaugural run and been modified based on feedback from all participants.
Mark your calendars and join us in 2017. The weekend will be a full retreat with experiences to engage the youth with their own and other congregations, learn something of our Universalist heritage, and focus on developing their credos.
It is expected that the youth will have done some prior consideration of their values and beliefs.
One advantage to congregations is that they can send any number of youth with one or more of their regular leaders. Congregations will cover the cost of housing at Murray Grove and meals - $175 per participant. You will save on the huge expense of sending a group to Boston, if you chose this as an alternative. If it is in addition to a Boston trip, the cost would be a reasonable additional expense. Often Coming of Age groups hold at least one retreat, in which case this would already be in your budget.
